(1) It is a moisturizing, moisturizing and wetting agent with moderate application performance. It can enhance the moisturizing effect of the formula while having a smooth skin feeling. Added to some cream systems, it can address the deficiencies of slow absorption, adhesion and whitening.
(2) Deodorization effect is good. Substances produced by Gram-positive bacteria, such as sebum in human sweat and shed epidermal cells, have an unpleasant odor. It effectively inhibits the growth and reproduction of odor-causing bacteria without affecting the beneficial skin flora, thus acting as an odor suppressor.
(3) Can improve the efficiency of the use of traditional preservatives. Consumers have begun to pay attention to the use and safety of preservatives in cosmetics, which can increase the effectiveness of traditional preservatives such as phenoxyethanol, methyl isothiazolinone or nitropogen methyl ester, thereby reducing the content of these substances in cosmetics, so that consumers are more safe and assured when using cosmetics.
(4) It can improve the antibacterial effect of multifunctional cosmetic additives such as diols and fatty acids.
(5) It is not affected by hydrolysis, temperature and pH, and is compatible with all commonly used cosmetic ingredients.
