Beeswax, also known as yellow wax, beeswax. Beeswax is a fatty substance secreted by the 4 pairs of wax glands in the abdomen of the age-appropriate worker bees in the bee colony. In colonies, worker bees use the wax they secrete to repair nesting spleens, ovary caps, and feed house caps. The nest spleen is the place for bees to store food, cultivate bees and roost, so beeswax is both the product of the bee colony and the material necessary for its survival and reproduction.
Beeswax is secreted by four pairs of wax glands under the abdomen of worker bees. Its main components are: acids, free fatty acids, free fatty alcohols and carbohydrates. In addition, there are carotenoids, vitamin A, aromatic substances and so on. Beeswax is widely used in industrial and agricultural production.
